Biography: Dr. Prakash G. Kshirsagar is a research instructor at the University of Nebraska Medical center (UNMC), Omaha, NE, USA. His academic and multidisciplinary research training has provided him with an excellent background in various fields, i.e., organic and bioconjugation chemistry, biomolecular nanotechnology, biochemistry, and molecular biology, as well as immunotherapy. His research mainly focused on synthesizing, characterization, and applying recombinant nanovaccine/nanomedicine and advanced diagnostic technology to detect prostate and pancreatic cancers and develop liposomal vaccine/drug delivery systems for pancreatic cancer. In his academic journey, he has received DOD postdoctoral training award for years 2015-2017, a doctoral scholarship award, and several other fellowships. He was also involved formulation and testing of the Novel Radiolabeled-MUC4 antibodies for pancreatic cancer therapy.
